Opalescent Cyclery is Tacoma's small-but-mighty independent bicycle shop. We're crazy about bikes and love helping others along their cycling journey whether you're just starting out, looking to get back on the saddle after a break, or already out there riding every day.
We're a tiny shop and many of our bicycle sales are focused on special orders or custom builds, but we've got years of experience guiding you through the process to make sure you find just the right bike.
In a world of less brick-and-mortar bicycle shops and more brand direct online sales, we're here to help support you before and AFTER the sale, with no more wait than figuring out an online order yourself. Don't get caught shipping the wrong parts back and forth at your expense, let us order the right part the first time, and we can install it right here in the shop.
Our professional service workshop is equipped to handle jobs from flat tires to custom wheel builds, and everything in between. We are a small team and take pride in quality work. This often means our service appointments can book up quickly as Spring and Summer approach - please book ahead of time for best availability!
The shop is conveniently located directly across 6th Ave from Wright Park. We've even got a parking lot around the back if the spots out front are taken.
